Features of PA2200 3D printing material

Laser-sintered components made of PA 2200 have excellent material properties:

• Excellent long-term consistent behavior

• Biocompatibility according to EN ISO 10993-1 and USP/Level VI/121 degree

PA2200 3D printing are fully functional plastic parts of the highest quality. Due to its excellent mechanical properties, the material is often used to replace typical injection molded plastics. PA2200 material is bright white in its natural state but can be dyed into various colors with an additional 10 percent . The natural finish is smooth but has a powdery feel to it. To improve the surface finish, we have two options, the first is shot peening, which greatly improves the surface finish of the PA2200 SLS printed parts, making them very close to the finish of injection molded parts. Or opt for a polishing service for an even smoother finish.
